Brooke Smith Before I even began to read The sequestered smell of Walter Mitty, I was already interested in what it was exhalation to be about because the author, James Thurber, is from my homet avow Columbus, Ohio. So this made me mirthful as to what a penr who grew up where I did would write about. When I first read the story, I thought I accidently skipped a few pages because the story went from one thing to another. As I read along though, I realized that I was wrongfulness and that this seemed to be a main theme end-to-end the story. Walter Mitty seemed to be controlled a crew by his wife, Mrs. Mitty, a tummy. And it seemed give care to strike a charge from this he fantasyd a lot about things way beyond his reality. I work out that since Mrs. Mitty was in control of him so much, with telling him what to do all the magazine and what not, Walters fantasies and solar day dreams were his only real escape, and his own way of existence in control of things himsel f.

I think this because his fantasies are those of where he is in control a lot of the time, such as being the lead surgeon, a mill pilot, and the captain of a vessel. I like the character of Walter. He seems to have the mind of a little kid that is stuck in an older persons body with the way that he thinks and fantasizes about things. The story cease up being instead interesting to me. I wasnt really sure on the ending of the story, but I think he started to fantasize again when Mrs. Mitty went back within because she forgot something. And because of this, I think it good shows the continuous fantasies with Walter and ho w he isnt going to change from that.If you ! fatality to get a sufficient essay, order it on our website:
